Vol présumé à l’hôpital Fann : Une plainte déposée par la victime
A case of alleged theft at the Fann Hospital Cardiology Center continues to generate discussion. While the hospital administration attempted to downplay or deny the incident after it received media attention, new information has reignited questions about security conditions within the hospital. A complaint has indeed been filed at the Point E police station by the alleged victim.
The incident occurred last Saturday around 11 p.m. at the hospital's cardiology center. According to reports, the suspected thief posed as a healthcare professional. Dressed in a white coat and carrying a notebook, he appeared convincing enough not to arouse suspicion among those present in the room.
The individual reportedly entered the room of a hospitalized patient and even checked her IV drip, further reinforcing his appearance as a member of the medical staff. Convinced she was dealing with a healthcare professional, the patient's companion paid him no attention and remained lying on the other side of the room.
It was only after she left that she noticed several personal belongings were missing. According to her statement, a mobile phone, a black bag containing 150,000 CFA francs, medical documents, and various other personal items were taken.
