Vocational training: Idrissa Samb hands over service orders to 300 new temporary trainers

The Ministry of Employment and Vocational Training has taken a decisive step in strengthening its educational framework. In a message published to mark this event, Minister Idrissa Samb expressed "immense pride in presenting the service orders to our 300 new temporary trainers." This achievement, he said, "translates into concrete actions our commitment to the Senegal 2050 Vision, which places vocational and technical training at the heart of our nation's transformation."

To achieve this goal, the ministerial department "set the bar extremely high in terms of fairness, rigor and transparency, innovating from the outset with the implementation of a fully online application platform."

The selection was based on telling figures: "20,461 talents registered at launch, a vibrant reflection of the ambition and vitality of our youth; 500 candidates selected based on strictly objective criteria; 300 finalists chosen after rigorous interviews and ten days of intensive training."

The Minister expressed his sincere gratitude to all those involved in this success, specifically mentioning the Director of Human Resources and his team for their impeccable integrity and leadership throughout the entire process, as well as the 3FPT for its unwavering support and constant commitment. He also commended the CFPT Senegal-Japan and the Dakar Polytechnic Institute (IPD) - Thomas Sankara for the quality of their facilities, which provided an ideal setting for the training sessions, and thanked the facilitators, inspectors, and methodologists for their dedication and the passion they conveyed during these sessions.

Addressing the recipients directly, Idrissa Samb emphasized that "they have not simply received an administrative document, but have taken on the role of architects of our nation's human capital." Reminding them that "in addition to being transmitters of technical knowledge, they will be trailblazers, guides, and inspirers of vocations," the minister concluded by affirming that "Senegal is entrusting them with its most precious resource: its youth. And I know they will carry out this mission with panache, exemplary conduct, and dedication."
