Graduation à la CCIAD : 157 diplômés prêts à l'emploi sur le marché
Celebration, matching training to employment, and new career paths. This Thursday, November 5th, the Dakar Chamber of Commerce, Industry, and Agriculture (CCIAD) awarded diplomas to 157 graduates from the classes of 2021 to 2025. In the presence of business and government representatives, the ceremony went beyond mere festivities to raise the issue of integration into key sectors such as logistics and transit, while also announcing the upcoming launch of innovative training programs dedicated to land-related professions.
The graduation ceremony marks not only the culmination of a demanding academic journey. For the 157 graduates of the consular institution, it opens a crucial new chapter: access to the job market. It was with this future in mind that the graduation ceremony for the 2021, 2022, 2023, 2024, and 2025 classes of the CCIAD was held in the Mamadou Lamine Niang Hall.

The event brought together several prominent figures from the private sector and public administration, including Amadou Seck, CEO of Eurogerm, Vice-President of the National Council of Employers (CNP), and President of the Union of Service Providers, Industrialists, and Traders of Senegal (UPIC), as well as Mouhamadou Moustapha Dia, Director of State Property. The presentations and discussions focused primarily on the career opportunities offered by the Academy's programs and the strategies for strengthening synergies with the business world.

The profiles of graduates in Transit, Management, Transport, and Logistics directly match the needs identified within the national economy, emphasized Amadou Seck. Industrial units engaged in production and export require highly specialized skills to master customs formalities, transit, and the supply chain. The business leader thus sees these new graduates as a pool of highly qualified talent for local companies.

Land-related sectors in view
Recognizing this alignment between education and employment, Amadou Seck reaffirmed the private sector's full commitment to supporting the integration of these young graduates, particularly through direct recruitment and professional immersion programs within companies. He expressed his desire to see this opportunity prioritized for the many women from the various graduating classes, whose commitment and determination he warmly commended.
The ceremony also provided an opportunity to discuss the future diversification of the institution's educational offerings. Mouhamadou Moustapha Dia, Director of State Lands and sponsor of the 2024 graduating class, offered his administration technical support for the upcoming launch of programs dedicated to land-related professions.

This initiative is a continuation of the close collaboration between the Land Registry and the CCIAD (Chamber of Commerce, Industry, Agriculture and Forestry), focused on facilitating access to land for economic operators. The two organizations are working together to digitize administrative procedures and establish a one-stop shop, with the Chamber of Commerce also participating in the development of the national land tenure security program. The Land Registry intends to leverage its sectoral expertise to develop these future training modules.
At the end of this solemn day, the 157 new graduates are preparing to take their first steps into a job market where operational skills in logistics, transit, management, and soon, land law, remain highly sought after. The actual fulfillment of the recruitment and support promises made by economic leaders will be a major test to ensure the long-term success of these five graduating classes.
