Burkina Faso : 245 associations sont suspendues sur l'ensemble du territoire national
The Burkinabe government has announced the suspension, effective June 11, 2026, of several associations deemed to be operating in irregular administrative conditions. In a decree, the Minister of State for Territorial Administration, Émile Zerbo, published the list of organizations concerned.
According to the authorities, this measure follows the failure to renew the governing bodies of these associations, in violation of their statutes, internal regulations, and applicable legislation. The suspension is imposed for an indefinite period, until their situation is rectified.
