Burkina Faso : des commerçants fautifs réquisitionnés pour effectuer des travaux d’intérêt général
On October 15, 2026, the Mobile Brigade for Economic Control and Fraud Repression (BMCRF) conducted inspection operations in the Pissy and Sondogo neighborhoods of Ouagadougou. Several shops selling consumer goods were closed for selling expired merchandise and practicing illegal pricing.
The offending traders were also requisitioned to perform community service.
Through these operations, the brigade reaffirms its commitment to protecting consumers, combating fraudulent business practices, and ensuring a transparent and fair market. It warns that any violations will be subject to sanctions.
