Burkina Faso : le gouverneur de la BCEAO fait le point sur la situation économique de l’UEMOA
The President of Burkina Faso, Ibrahim Traoré, received on Monday the Governor of the Central Bank of West African States, Jean-Claude Kassi Brou, who came to take stock of the economic, monetary and financial situation of the WAEMU.
Following the meeting, the governor indicated that the sub-region's main indicators remain positive, particularly in terms of growth, inflation, and external position. He also commended the resilience of the Burkinabe economy, highlighting its strong performance and the control of inflationary pressures.
The discussions finally focused on BCEAO's projects in Burkina Faso and on the institution's development prospects in the country.
