Burkina Faso : Les autorités intensifient les opérations de contrôle routiers
To mark the 10th Road Safety Week, Burkinabe authorities are intensifying awareness and control operations in order to reduce traffic accidents.
In Ouagadougou, teams from the municipal police, the National Road Safety Office and their partners are mobilized at several intersections to raise awareness among users and combat offences such as speeding, drunk driving, and not wearing a helmet or seat belt.
Broadcasts in national languages also accompany this campaign, which aims to promote respect for the Highway Code and to strengthen the safety of road users.
