Burkina Faso : plus de 4 000 bouteilles de liqueurs non conformes saisies à Ouagadougou
On Wednesday, August 12, 2026, the Ouagadougou Municipal Police conducted an operation to control adulterated and non-compliant drinks.
The operation resulted in the seizure of more than 4,000 bottles of non-compliant and repackaged liquors, as part of actions to protect public health and combat illegal practices in drinking establishments.
The police report that regulations prohibit the production, marketing, distribution and possession of liquors packaged in plastic bags or bottles of less than 30 centiliters.
