Côte d’Ivoire : L’armée à nouveau endeuillée
More bad news for the Ivorian army. After the deputy chief of staff, Major General DEM Aly Justin, it is now the turn of the commander of the 2nd Military Region of Daloa, Fofié Kouakou, to be taken by the Grim Reaper.
The Colonel-Major passed away yesterday, Sunday, August 9th, following a long illness.
In the statement announcing the sad news, the General Staff of the Armed Forces offered "its deepest condolences to his family, relatives and all personnel of the Armed Forces of Côte d'Ivoire".
The funeral arrangements for the high-ranking officer will be announced at a later date.
