Kaolack : Démantèlement d'un gang spécialisé dans le vol et de recel de motos-Jakarta
The urban security unit of the Kaolack central police station has dismantled a network specializing in the theft of Jakarta motorcycles and the handling of stolen goods. Seven individuals were arrested, including three suspected perpetrators of aggravated theft and four suspected receivers of stolen goods.
The operation, carried out following numerous complaints from Jakarta motorcycle drivers, resulted in the seizure of seven stolen motorcycles, three of which were found in Kaolack and four others recovered in the Kaffrine region.
According to the initial findings of the investigation, the perpetrators operated as an organized gang, targeting their victims at night under the threat of bladed weapons.
The investigation continues to find the other members of the network who are currently on the run.
