Mali : L’activiste Ben le cerveau, proche de Kemi Séba, condamné à 5 ans de prison
He was one of Assimi Goita's most ardent supporters from the moment he seized power in Mali. Adama Ben Diarra, alias "Ben the Brain," is now merely an inmate in Malian prisons.
Convicted in 2023 to two years in prison, one of which was suspended, "for endangering state security", this close associate of Kemi Seba has just received on Monday, August 3, 2026, a new sentence of five years in prison, one of which is suspended, for "threats and insults through an information system".
The sentence was handed down at the end of his trial before the Criminal Chamber of the Bamako Court of Appeal.
Let us remember that Ben the brain is the leader of the Yéréwolo movement standing on the ramparts.
