Mali : Les FAMA détruisent un site d’exploitation aurifère clandestine utilisé par le JNIM et le FLA
In Mali, the Army reports that it conducted targeted strikes against an illegal gold mining site on August 4th on the outskirts of Tessalit. The gold mine was "being used by the JNIM/FLA coalition," it stated.
It must be said that this action is part of "operations aimed at depriving terrorist groups of financial resources derived from illicit activities and at drying up their sources of funding."
The Malian Armed Forces and their partners are continuing military interventions on the ground to secure the entire national territory.
On Wednesday, August 5th, "several gathering points of armed terrorist groups with significant war materiel were also successfully dealt with by air assets in the Tabrichat area.
