Nathalie Yamb prend le parti de Khonsou, le fils de Kemi Seba emprisonné avec son père en Afrique du Sud
Kemi Seba remains in South African prisons. The activist did not appear before the Pretoria Regional Court on Tuesday, August 11, due to a power outage at the prison where he is being held. This is according to BIP Radio.
Today's hearing was supposed to address Benin's extradition request. Due to the incident at the prison, it has been postponed until September 23, 2026.
His "only crime is living with his father"
It should be noted that Kemi Seba is imprisoned along with his son Khonsou for attempting to illegally leave South Africa. Nathalie Yamb is saddened by the 18-year-old's situation. In a post on X, she deplores his continued detention. According to the activist, "Khonsou's only crime is living with his father."
