Niger : Le général Tiani affirme détenir des preuves de l'implication française dans plusieurs attaques terroristes au Sahel
On the occasion of the third anniversary of the National Council for the Safeguarding of the Homeland (CNSP), the Nigerien president, General Abdourahamane Tiani, accused France and certain Western countries of contributing to the destabilization of the Sahel by supporting armed groups.
During an address on national television, he praised the resilience of the Nigerien people and defense forces. He then claimed to possess evidence of French involvement in several attacks, notably against the Diori Hamani International Airport in Niamey.
The head of state assured that the authorities had thwarted part of these operations and reaffirmed their determination to continue the fight for the sovereignty of Niger and the Alliance of Sahel States (AES).
