« Si je marque, je vais le faire » : Kylian Mbappé promet une célébration improbable face au Sénégal
Spearheading the French attack, Kylian Mbappé will be one to watch on June 16th in New York, during the opening Group I clash between Senegal and France. In an interview with the American channel Fox Sports, the French captain recounted his childhood experiences with the flute and even promised a celebration related to the musical instrument if he scores against the Lions.
“I tried (the flute). My parents wanted me to do lots of things, to explore, to open my mind to different things. I played the flute for a year or two, it was fun,” recalls Kylian Mbappé.
James Corden, the American journalist who interviewed him, then asked him if he could make it a new celebration. Kylian Mbappé chose this moment to invite everyone to join him on June 16th at MetLife Stadium in New York. "The first match against Senegal, if I score, I'm going to do it, for you," he promised.
Kylian Mbappé then tried a few notes on the flute, without much success. "It's been years (since I last played). I've lost everything," he said with a smile, hoping for the same lack of success against Senegal.
