Music: Guinea offers the greatest African singing couple of all time

Considered the greatest breeding ground for talented and accomplished artists in Africa, Guinea remains a true artistic melting pot. This reputation is confirmed by numerous global stars such as the singing duo Soul Bangs and Manamba Kanté, the legitimate heir of the legendary Mory Kanté.

On the occasion of their historic concert this weekend celebrating 15 years of career and 10 years of union rooted in love and prosperity, they have once again demonstrated to the world that they remain the African singing couple of all time, like Dialy bou Nioul and Fouta Mbaye, Amadou and Miriam, or Soundioulou Cissokho and Mahawa Kouyaté.

Singers, composers and opinion leaders, the Bangoura have become, according to several international media outlets, the most decorated couple with numerous international honorary distinctions that confirm their talent and stage presence.

The couple Bangoura Manamba Kanté and Soul Bang's have once again made history, leaving an indelible mark on the annals of Guinean music. The scene unfolded in the heart of Conakry at the majestic People's Palace. It was on the legendary stage of the big top that the couple raised the curtains to celebrate their 10th wedding anniversary in a warm atmosphere brimming with emotion and nostalgia.

The show took place before a discerning audience, under sophisticated lighting. The two artists moved and intertwined with the choreographers in a beautiful, cohesive movement on stage, creating a truly memorable evening. They performed the finest songs of their career, immersing the audience in a playful and sumptuous journey.
