It was around this issue that a capacity-building seminar was organized yesterday by the commercial section of the National Order of Experts, under the theme "Financial Analysis: Principles, Methodology, Diagnosis and Practice".

Beyond simply reading financial statements, financial analysis allows us to decipher a company's performance, assess its economic stability, measure its ability to meet its obligations, and, above all, anticipate risks that could jeopardize its viability. This approach is essential in an economic environment where the quality of financial information is a determining factor in decision-making.

For business experts, this skill takes on a particular dimension. Their analyses and conclusions are regularly called upon to inform the decisions of courts and economic actors. Hence the need for solid technical expertise and the ability to rigorously interpret financial data.

"Mastering financial analysis is an essential tool for assessing a company's economic and financial situation, evaluating its performance, identifying its risks, and informing decisions," stressed Maître Aïssatou Guèye, president of the commercial section of the order of experts.

She also stressed the need for rigor, objectivity and discernment in the interpretation of financial data, qualities essential to the practice of the profession.
