Bac technique 2026 : le Lycée Technique Industriel et Minier de Kédougou affiche un taux de réussite de 88,35 %.
The results of the second round of the 2026 technical secondary school baccalaureate confirm the strong performance of the Kédougou Industrial and Mining Technical High School (LTIM). The school achieved a remarkable pass rate of 88.35%, illustrating the combined efforts of students, teachers, and administration.
Of the 104 registered candidates, 103 actually sat the exam, with only one candidate absent, representing an attendance rate of 99.04%. Following deliberations, 91 students received their diplomas, including 42 boys and 49 girls.
The STIDDE series (Sciences and Industrial Techniques of Sustainable Development, Electricity option) achieved an exceptional performance with a 100% success rate. All 19 candidates present were admitted, including two with the distinction of "Assez Bien" (Good).
The STEG (Science and Technology of Economics and Management) series also achieved very good results. Of the 52 candidates present, 46 were admitted, representing a success rate of 88.46%. Among them, six candidates obtained a "Passable" grade.
In STIDDM (Sciences et Techniques Industrielles du Développement Durable option Mécanique), 26 out of 32 candidates present were declared successful, representing a success rate of 81.25%. This series also recorded six "Assez Bien" (Good) distinctions.
Across the entire jury 1626, which comprises all candidates from the written examination center at the Kédougou Industrial and Mining Technical High School, the results are also encouraging. Of the 150 registered candidates, 147 sat the exam, representing an attendance rate of 98%. A total of 108 candidates passed, resulting in an overall success rate of 73.47%.
In detail, the T1 series achieved a perfect score with 100% success, while the STEG, STIDDE and STIDDM series recorded rates of 68.75%, 84.62% and 72.97% respectively, with several candidates also obtaining the distinction of "Good".
These results demonstrate the rise of technical education in the Kédougou region and confirm the dynamism of the Industrial and Mining Technical High School, which continues to train competent graduates in strategic sectors for the economic development of Senegal.
