Diamaguène : La police interpelle trois trafiquants de chanvre indien, dont un Guinéen
The investigation unit of the Diamaguène Sicap-Mbao district police station conducted two separate operations against cannabis trafficking. Three individuals were arrested, including a Guinean national.
Information regarding a cannabis trafficking network run by a certain B. Kanouté led investigators to launch an inquiry. According to the informant, the suspect hid the drugs in a bag in his room.
To catch him, the detectives set up surveillance at the location. Following the source's directions, the suspect was spotted at the doorstep of the house, where he was apprehended and taken to his bedroom, where another individual was preparing tea. A search of the room revealed a black bag matching the description. It contained approximately 200 grams of loose cannabis and nine small packets.
When asked to state their identity, the two men presented themselves as B. Kanouté, 21 years old, a worker residing in Lansar, and I. Kanouté, 18 years old, a tiler residing at the same address.
When questioned about the bag's ownership, B. Kanouté denied being the owner. I. Kanouté, for his part, claimed that the bag belonged to their roommate, I. Touré, whom he identified as the real trafficker.
The two men were taken into custody, while the search continues for I. Touré. The bag containing the drugs was impounded for sealing.
A Guinean trafficker arrested in Sam-Sam 2

When questioned about the origin of the drugs, Y. Sylla stated that he had bought them at the weekly market in Diaobé for 15,000 CFA francs for two packets. Regarding his supplier, he claimed to have met him by chance. He specified that he had acquired a total of 2 kg of cannabis, of which he had already sold 500 g, and was preparing to deliver the last four packets when he was arrested.
