Enceinte d’un client : Une prostituée interrompt une grossesse gémellaire et jette les fœtus dans une fosse
An anonymous tip received on August 28th by the Dalifort district police station was supposed to lead investigators to a suspected prostitution ring in the Cité Soleil housing project in Dalifort. However, the investigation uncovered a case of illegal abortion involving a twin pregnancy.
The story implicates R. Diallo, 28, who claims to be a prostitute. According to her statements, she became pregnant after a condom broke during sex with a client. Faced with the pregnancy, she allegedly decided to terminate it.
According to the investigation, R. Diallo was put in contact with Mr. Diatta, described as an employee of the Pikine hospital, on the recommendation of A. Ndiaye. Ms. Ndiaye allegedly offered her medication to induce an abortion for 100,000 CFA francs. R. Diallo claims to have paid an advance of 30,000 CFA francs. The clandestine abortion was reportedly performed in July 2026. The young woman admits to having taken the abortifacient medication provided by Mr. Diatta. The testimony of several witnesses corroborated this account.
S. Ngom stated that he learned from A. Senghor that R. Diallo was bleeding and that someone had been asked to terminate her pregnancy. W. Diouf, for his part, asserted that Senghor told him about a twin pregnancy that had been terminated after the purchase of medication in Keur Serigne Bi.
According to R. Diallo's confession, the two fetuses from the terminated pregnancy were placed in a bag. She then allegedly tasked K. Senghor, A. Senghor's younger sister, with disposing of them.
Called as a witness, 15-year-old K. Senghor confirmed that she had thrown the bag into a pit or gutter located near her home. She then said she cleaned up the traces of blood.
Police also searched the building occupied by A. Senghor. While no fetus was found, investigators collected several consistent testimonies regarding the alleged circumstances of the abortion.
To get to the bottom of things, investigators sent a request to the Nabil Choucair health center for an anatomopathological examination of Ramatoulaye Diallo. The results of these examinations could be crucial for the rest of the proceedings, particularly regarding the veracity and circumstances of the alleged abortion.
Mr. Diatta, described as the supplier of the abortifacient drugs, is on the run.
On pimping
The investigation, however, is not limited to the abortion. Police suspect Amy Senghor, 42, of running a prostitution ring operating out of the Cité Soleil housing project. She allegedly employed R. Diallo and A. Ndiaye as prostitutes and answered calls from clients.
Her husband, D. Fall, 47, is also being prosecuted for his alleged involvement in running an illegal liquor store and slot machines. A search of their home yielded alcoholic beverages and two slot machines. Later, four more machines were seized from Charles Moïse Gomez, alias "Thiadj," who was arrested on August 31 and identified as the machine's owner.
At the conclusion of the investigation, A. Senghor, R. Diallo, A. Ndiaye, and D. Fall were brought before the prosecutor's office in Pikine-Guédiawaye. They were all remanded in custody on August 31st. The case will be heard before the court of summary jurisdiction for charges of pimping, operating a licensed establishment selling alcoholic beverages without authorization, abortion and complicity in abortion, as well as failure to possess a health certificate.
