Seneweb informed you yesterday, Monday, of the arrest of four suspects, bringing the total number to 72, as part of the execution of a judicial delegation issued by the investigating judge of the first chamber at the High Court of Pikine-Guédiawaye.
According to our sources, plainclothes gendarmes from the Research Brigade (BR) of the Keur Massar gendarmerie company also arrested two other suspects on the same day, bringing the total number of arrests to 74 in the dismantling of this network of alleged homosexuals.
The six individuals arrested on Monday, April 20, 2026, had romantic relationships with the singer Djiby Dramé, according to evidence collected by investigators through the analysis of telephones.
An administrative agent in on the scheme
It all began when the Keur Massar Research Brigade located a suspected associate of the singer in Saly. With the assistance of their colleagues from the Saly Research Brigade, under the Mbour gendarmerie company, this furniture salesman was arrested in the town of Saly before being taken to Dakar.

74 arrests in total
Following the opinion of the investigating judge of the first chamber at the Pikine-Guédiawaye High Court, the six alleged partners of singer Djiby Dramé were taken into custody on charges of sodomy and other offenses. Prosecutor Saliou Dicko was informed of the latest developments in the investigation.
Among the 74 suspects arrested since the beginning of the dismantling of this network, Pape Cheikh Diallo, Ibrahima Magib Seck and Djiby Dramé have the largest number of partners arrested.
