Twenty-four-year-old hairdresser Mr. Diallo appeared before the Thiès court for flagrant offenses on charges of using Indian hemp. He was arrested in Tivaouane in possession of two packets of the illicit substance.
In court, the young man admitted to the charges against him. Before the judges, he promised never to touch drugs again, thus demonstrating his determination to definitively turn his back on this practice.
For his part, the public prosecutor considered that the facts were consistent and requested the application of the law.
Following the debates, the case was adjourned for deliberation.
