Ndiassé S. faces 20 years in prison. Convinced of his guilt for rape, pedophilia, unnatural acts, and indecent assault under duress, the public prosecutor has requested an "exemplary" sentence for this butcher. The criminal chamber of the Pikine/Guédiawaye High Court, before which the accused appeared, will deliver its verdict on August 4.
Ndiassé S. has been in pretrial detention since 2022. He is accused of raping underage boys using a well-established method: he would roam at night between Thiaroye-Sur-Mer and Mbour, escorted by a pack of dogs. When he encountered his victims, he would lure them in the dark to the beach or a deserted area. There, he would abuse them in private before releasing them, threatening to unleash his dogs on anyone who dared to report him.
In court, the butcher identified himself as Ndiassé D. (not Ndiassé S.). He admitted to the acts but appeared to be mentally unstable. According to L'Observateur, which attended the trial, his lawyer even pleaded insanity when refuting the prosecutor's case. "The lawyer lamented the lack of a psychiatric evaluation during the investigation and asserted that 'a sane person doesn't roam the streets at night with a pack of men to rape boys,'" reported the newspaper of the Groupe Futurs Médias.
In any case, the testimonies of four of his victims, present in court, converge: they suffered assaults at the hands of Ndiassé S. under almost identical circumstances. AN, 14 years old, quoted by L'Observateur, shared his ordeal: “One day he was walking his dogs and offered to take me with him. When we got to the beach, he forced me to undress, dragged me into the water, and sodomized me. Leaving me on the football field, he threatened to feed me to his dogs if I spoke.”
According to the newspaper, MS, SS, who crossed paths with the butcher near a gambling hall in Thiaroye-Sur-Mer during Ramadan, and BS, all aged between 13 and 14, suffered the same fate. "The medical certificates are identical: all present lesions and anal fissures, confirming the physical violence they endured," the same source added.
The prosecutor is adamant: "Although his attitude in the dock suggests that he is mentally ill, Ndiassé S. was fully aware of his actions at the time of the events."
