Corée du Nord : Kim Yo-jong, sœur de Kim Jong-un, menace d’une riposte «plus offensive» suite à des manœuvres américaines
North Korean leader Kim Jong-un's sister, Kim Yo-jong, on Friday strongly denounced US military activities in the region, accusing them of fueling tensions with Pyongyang.
In a statement relayed by the KCNA news agency, she notably criticized the increase in military exercises by Washington and warned that North Korea could respond in a "more offensive" manner.
According to Kim Yo-jong, the intensification of actions that she describes as hostile against the Democratic People's Republic of Korea requires Pyongyang to strengthen its own retaliatory measures, which she wants to be "proportionate or more offensive in nature".
These statements come amid persistent tensions between North Korea and the United States, particularly regarding American military activities on the Korean Peninsula.
