Coups de feu près de la Maison Blanche: le tireur est décédé
An armed man who opened fire on Secret Service agents outside the White House on Saturday night died after being shot, the presidential security service said in a statement to U.S. media.
A bystander was also wounded in the exchange of gunfire, the Secret Service said, without providing information on the victim's condition. The gunman opened fire on agents at a security checkpoint near the White House, and "Secret Service officers returned fire, striking the suspect, who was transported to a local hospital, where he later died," the statement said.
