Donald Trump ne croit pas que le guide suprême iranien soit mort
The US president believes that Mojtaba Khamenei, who has not appeared in public since March 8, is seriously injured, but not dead.
Donald Trump said on Wednesday that he "did not think" that Iranian Supreme Leader Mojtaba Khamenei, who has not been seen in public since late February, "is dead."
"He was very seriously injured but I don't think he's dead," the US president said during an interview with conservative broadcaster Glenn Beck.
Mojtaba Khamenei was wounded in the first wave of US-Israeli strikes against Iran on February 28, which killed his father, Ali Khamenei. He has not appeared in public since and communicates through statements attributed to him.
This discretion, in the midst of a regional conflict, has given rise to speculation both about his state of health and about his relations with other senior Iranian officials.
