The incident occurred around 3:25 p.m. in the 19th arrondissement, on Avenue Simon-Bolivar. A man with his face partially concealed approached the victim and grabbed him by the throat before stabbing him in the right side.
In shock, she rushed to get help from a nearby bar. Two waiters came to her aid and contacted the police and emergency medical services. The woman reportedly told the employees that she did not know the man.
An investigation has been opened
She was taken to Bichat Hospital with a puncture wound to her right side. Her condition was initially critical, but is no longer so. Doctors reported that the wound was superficial.
The suspect fled the scene. It could be a "random act," according to a police source interviewed by Le Parisien.
