Présidentielle en France : le RN largement en tête, Philippe bien placé pour être au 2e tour, selon un sondage
The National Rally, with Jordan Bardella slightly better placed than Marine Le Pen, still dominates voting intentions for the 2027 presidential election, with Edouard Philippe in a position to face her in the second round, according to a poll on Monday by Toluna Harris Interactive for M6/RTL.
The polling institute tested four first-round configurations with Jordan Bardella or Marine Le Pen for the RN and Edouard Philippe or Gabriel Attal for the centrist bloc.
Jordan Bardella would obtain 34 or 35% of voting intentions, Marine Le Pen 32 or 33%. In the common core, Edouard Philippe and Gabriel Attal are measured at 19% and 14% of voting intentions respectively, regardless of the configuration.
The two former Prime Ministers of Emmanuel Macron are ranked second, and according to this poll would be in a position to qualify for the second round, although Gabriel Attal is closely followed by Jean-Luc Mélenchon (LFI), Raphaël Glucksmann (Place Publique) and Bruno Retailleau (LR).
The leader of La France insoumise, who officially announced his candidacy on Sunday, is polling at 12% (13% in a scenario with Jordan Bardella and Gabriel Attal).
The Social Democratic MEP, founder of the Place Publique party, is polling at 11 or 12%, depending on the scenario. Toluna Harris Interactive is not testing any potential Socialist candidates in this poll.
The president of the Les Républicains party, Bruno Retailleau, would be better placed (13%) in a configuration with Marine Le Pen and Gabriel Attal than in a first round with Jordan Bardella and Edouard Philippe, which would see him obtain 9% of the voting intentions, according to this poll.
On the left, the Green Party candidate Marine Tondelier is polling at 4% in all scenarios, and the Communist candidate Fabien Roussel at 3% to 4%. On the far right, Eric Zemmour, president of Reconquête, is projected to receive between 5% and 6%.
The poll also notes that 80% of French people say they are interested in the presidential election, including 45% who are very interested.
The Toluna Harris Interactive survey was conducted from April 28 to 30, on a sample of 1,725 registered voters, using the quota sampling method. The margin of error is between 1 and 2.3%.
