Une mère condamnée à sept peines de prison à perpétuité consécutives
An Oklahoma woman in the United States has been sentenced to seven consecutive life sentences for failing to protect her 11-year-old daughter from sexual abuse, and then for allowing the child to give birth at home without medical assistance after becoming pregnant by her husband.
Cherie Walker was sentenced to seven consecutive life sentences by a Muskogee County judge on Friday, October 30, 2026, according to Fox affiliate Oklahoma City KOKL and Muskogee County court public records reviewed by PEOPLE.

Walker, 34, was charged with one count of child sexual abuse and six counts of child neglect in August 2025 after authorities learned that her 11-year-old daughter gave birth to a baby inside the family home without prenatal care or medical assistance on August 16, 2025, according to local media reports.
In a statement to KOTV at the time, Muskogee County Assistant District Attorney Janet Hutson indicated that Walker and her husband, Dustin Walker, both claimed they did not know the child was pregnant at the time of delivery.
"This child is traumatized," Hutson told KOTV at the time. "She went through a terrible ordeal. Not only did she become pregnant, but she gave birth at home without medical assistance, and that trauma will mark her forever."
In another statement to KJRH, the district attorney's office indicated that DNA tests had confirmed that Walker's husband — the child's stepfather — was the baby's father.
The Muskogee County District Attorney's office did not immediately respond to PEOPLE's request for comment.
The prosecution later argued that Walker knew her husband was sexually abusing their daughter but did nothing to stop it. She was found guilty on all seven counts on July 17, 2026, according to Muskogee County court records reviewed by PEOPLE magazine.

The child's stepfather pleaded guilty in March to serious felony charges of child sexual abuse and neglect.
He was subsequently sentenced to life imprisonment, according to the media outlet.
The child's grandmother, Michelle Justus, was also charged in the case, with prosecutors arguing that she knew sexual abuse was taking place in the home and did nothing to stop it.

Heureusement que la justice des USA sait comment les retirer de la circulation. En Europe ils auraient pris 20 ans, en auraient fait 12 et puis l'air libre. Mais là, ils sont en cage pour de bon, comme des animaux.
