Affaire Mohamed Sanhadji : Fayza Lamari, la mère de Mbappé, auditionnée par la justice
The investigation into Mohamed Sanhadji, former head of security for the French national team, has taken a new turn. According to L'Équipe, Fayza Lamari, Kylian Mbappé's mother, was questioned last Friday in Paris by three investigating judges. Following her interrogation, she was granted the status of assisted witness.
French authorities are continuing their investigation into the relationships between Mohamed Sanhadji and several figures in French football. At the heart of the investigation are four visa applications for which Fayza Lamari allegedly sought the assistance of the former security officer for the French national team.
Kylian Mbappé was also questioned on September 30 at the offices of the General Inspectorate of the National Police (IGPN). Investigators are particularly interested in clarifying the circumstances surrounding a payment of €60,300 made by the French striker to Mohamed Sanhadji in June 2023. Their trip together to Cameroon the following month is also of interest to the magistrates.
The aim of the investigations is, in particular, to determine whether the former head of security received payment in return for a private assignment.
Charged with several offenses, including corruption and influence peddling, Mohamed Sanhadji remains at the center of this far-reaching legal case. The investigation continues to clarify the role of the various individuals involved.
