Boy Djinné face à deux dossiers explosifs : le marathon judiciaire s'ouvre ce mardi
The notorious prisoner Baye Modou Fall, alias Boy Djinné, faces a double court appearance this Tuesday 14 and Wednesday 15 July in Dakar, reports Les Échos.
Burglaries and attempted murder (this Tuesday)
On Tuesday, July 14, he appeared before the criminal court in a case encompassing four burglary cases. Tried alongside five other people, he is being prosecuted for several serious offenses, including criminal conspiracy, armed robbery, attempted murder, violence, breaking and entering, and possession of firearms without authorization.
The mobile phone case at the Penal Camp (this Wednesday)
The very next day, Wednesday, July 15, Boy Djinné was expected to appear before the court for flagrant offenses on charges of possessing prohibited items in prison. According to Les Échos, two cell phones, a memory card, and a card reader were discovered in his cell.
While he acknowledged owning the devices and admitted that one of them had been smuggled into the establishment, he refused to identify his accomplice. The newspaper adds that an examination of one of the phones allowed investigators to discover numerous pornographic photos and videos dating back to 2023.
Another case in Touba
Finally, Les Échos reminds us that Boy Djinné is also under arrest warrant in another case related to the alleged burglary of a villa in Touba, a case in which he faces 17 charges.
