Touba Regional Court: What Leukh Leukh said before his release; extension of police custody for the two TikTokers

Released on summons yesterday, Sunday, around 6 p.m., the TikToker Leukh Leukh, accompanied by his lawyer, Serigne Diongue, appeared this Monday at the Touba gendarmerie's research brigade (BR). During his second interrogation, the suspect denied having made discourteous remarks toward Serigne Sidy Mbacké Abdou Lahat regarding the Sokhna Aïda Diallo case. "I simply called on the Mourides to show solidarity with Serigne Mountakha Mbacké," he told the gendarmes, according to Seneweb sources.

At this stage of the investigation, the complainant has not provided any evidence to justify his potential detention. Consequently, Leukh Leukh left the Touba gendarmerie a free man with his lawyer. However, he remains at the disposal of the justice system.

However, the detention of Oumar Café Diagne, also known as "Oumar Wass," and Serigne Saliou Mbaye, known as "Khelcom," has been extended, according to Seneweb sources. They are expected to be brought before Prosecutor Amary Faye, head of the Diourbel prosecutor's office, tomorrow, Tuesday.

As a reminder, these events followed the controversial visit of Sokhna Aïda Diallo to Touba. Having received the widow of Serigne Cheikh Béthio Thioune at his home, Serigne Sidy Mbacké faced criticism as well as discourteous and offensive remarks.
