Fake news sur ses opérations : la Police nationale dément et ouvre une enquête
The National Police issued an official statement after noticing the circulation of false information on social media regarding its operations.
Videos that did not come from the police
In a statement, the institution indicated that it had observed a proliferation of misleading content aimed at deceiving the public. It formally denied being the source of the videos currently being shared online, specifying that they did not originate from its services in any way.
The DCRP, the only official channel
The National Police is taking this opportunity to reiterate the rules of institutional communication. All information or statements genuinely originating from the Police are transmitted exclusively through the Communication and Public Relations Division (DCRP), designated as the sole official channel authorized to disseminate this type of content. Citizens are therefore urged to exercise caution and verify the source of information before sharing it.
An investigation has been opened
In response to this situation, the authorities have launched an investigation. Its aim is to identify the authors and distributors of this fake news, apprehend them, and then bring them to justice.
The National Police therefore calls on the public to be cautious and to rely only on official communications disseminated through its recognized channels.
