Haute Cour de justice : Jour de vérité pour l’ancien ministre Ismaïla Madior Fall

Indicted for alleged corruption, former Justice Minister Ismaïla Madior Fall is scheduled to stand trial this Tuesday, July 28, 2026, before the High Court of Justice. The trial will be held at the Supreme Court building.

The former Minister of Justice will have to explain the awarding of contracts for the construction of judicial infrastructure. He is notably accused of attempted bribery in a case involving the contractor Cheikh Guèye. Guèye, whose case is under investigation by the second chamber of the Pikine-Guédiawaye court, will also be heard as a witness in the trial.
