Amir Abo : « Je vais saisir la justice contre eux tous »
After receiving a full dismissal order from the judge of the 3rd chamber of the Financial Judicial Pool (PJF), Abo Mbacké, also known as "Amir Abo," has announced a series of lawsuits against those he accuses of orchestrating his case. In an interview with L'Observateur, the president of Stam Global Business warns that he will demand that his detractors provide proof of their allegations: "I will take legal action against all of them. I will follow the case with my lawyers, and they will answer for their actions before the courts. I will not forgive," he declares. He also confirms that he has already filed a complaint against journalist Babacar Touré.
The businessman essentially denounces a "set-up" and a "relentless campaign" aimed at damaging his reputation and assets. He specifically names architect Pierre Goudiaby Atépa and journalist Babacar Touré as, in his view, the masterminds behind this scheme. "A setup against me by Pierre Goudiaby Atépa and Babacar Touré," he asserts, before mentioning that he has already filed a complaint against the latter. Amir Abo also contests the accusations challenging his ownership of real estate, claiming to be able to publish his "land title" numbers, the newspaper reports.
The businessman also denounces the irregularities he claims to have observed surrounding the seizure and return of his assets. He cites, in particular, a sum of 800 million CFA francs in cash found at his home without having been deposited, as well as 100 million CFA francs given to another complainant, Mame Diarra Tall, without any receipt being presented to her. He challenges her to produce the documents proving that any payment was made.
At the heart of this affair, Amir Abo locates the origin of the dispute in his adversaries' desire to strain his privileged relationship with the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. He points out that on the very day of his arrest, Saudi partners who had come to propose solutions for the "water supply of the city of Touba" were received by the Caliph General of the Mourides, Serigne Mountakha Mbacké. According to the source interviewed by the Groupe Futurs Médias newspaper, this legal action was primarily aimed at destroying his image and blocking his major projects.
