The Minister of Justice, Keeper of the Seals, Moussa Sarr, received a delegation from the Senegalese League for Human Rights (LSDH) on Friday, led by its president, Denis Ndour. Discussions focused on the protection of vulnerable people, Senegal's respect for its international commitments, and strengthening cooperation with civil society.

The LSDH also affirmed its willingness to be involved in the success of the Dakar 2026 Youth Olympic Games, a major international event for the country.
The two parties discussed at length the issue of Senegalese courts' compliance with international conventions ratified by the State, as well as with decisions rendered by community courts. The League took the opportunity to highlight certain difficulties it has encountered in its operations.
The Minister of Justice's response
Speaking in turn, Mr. Moussa Sarr reaffirmed Senegal's commitment to respecting its international obligations. He praised the role played by human rights organizations, which he considers an essential partner in public action.
