Police du Plateau : l'activiste Xrum Xax libéré après le rejet du projet de loi de finances rectificative
After the rejection of the amending finance bill, the activist and leader of the "Nittu Deug Valeurs" movement, Abdou Karim Guèye, alias Xrum Xax, and his companion were finally released between 3 p.m. and 4 p.m., according to Seneweb sources.
Arrested around 11 a.m. in front of the National Assembly during the plenary session, they were questioned and their statements recorded at the Plateau district police station. On the instructions of the judicial authorities, Xrum Xax and his companion were released.
As a reminder, they were holding two banners bearing messages of protest against the country's stagnation. The protesters denounced, in particular, the consequences of the freeze on family allowances, as well as the obstacles to the construction of five hospitals.
