Dakar sous les eaux : Un après-midi d’orages encore annoncé

The weather has calmed down this morning in Dakar after the heavy rains of the past 48 hours that flooded the capital. But this respite won't last. At least, that's according to meteorologist Riad Kawar.

In a weather bulletin published on his Facebook page, he announces "Weather becoming favorable again for thunderstorms in places in the afternoon, especially in the western half and the south of the country: Regions of Thiès, Dakar, Diourbel, Fatick, Kaolack, Kaffrine, Tambacounda, Kédougou, Ziguinchor, Kolda, Sedhiou, Louga, Saint-Louis".

The already hard-hit population of the capital is urged to remain vigilant.

Les journalistes sont vraiment legers dans comment ils traitent l'info. J'aime bien Riad, mais depuis quand il est meteorologue. C'est plutot un passionne de la meteo.
