The Voice Afrique Francophone 2026 : La béninoise Saara Houansou sacrée
This is fantastic news for Beninese music. Saara Houansou, the young Beninese singer, won the singing competition, The Voice Afrique Francophone 2026, after receiving 60.8% of the public votes.
It is ahead of Val from Madagascar (25.81%), Original Ekwa from the Democratic Republic of Congo (8.52%) and Dreamer from Burundi (5.58%).
Her coach during this competition is none other than Josey, the Ivorian singer, who is also a member of the jury.
After her victory, the 31-year-old artist asked people who "dream of singing, to dare", even if they are afraid, "because anything can happen".
