Bulletin Météo : Des orages attendus dans l'Est et le Sud, temps nuageux au Centre
The National Agency for Civil Aviation and Meteorology (ANACIM) announces a day marked by rain and thunderstorms across much of the national territory, with intensification expected by midday.
Eastern localities, particularly Matam, Tambacounda, and Kédougou, as well as the Southwest, especially Ziguinchor and Cap Skirring, are directly exposed to heavy rain and thunderstorms throughout the day. According to the agency, these weather events are expected to intensify further during the afternoon and continue into the evening, particularly affecting the southern part of the country.
In the central part of the country, in Fatick, Kaolack, Kaffrine, Diourbel and Thiès, generally cloudy weather will prevail, accompanied by a slight risk of rain in some areas.
Finally, only passing cloudy skies are expected in the areas of Saint-Louis, Podor, Louga and Dakar.
