Météo : Des températures jusqu'à 39°C et des pluies attendues mardi au Sénégal
Senegalese people will have to deal with more pronounced heat this Tuesday, with maximum temperatures expected to reach up to 39°C in the North and East regions, according to forecasts from the National Agency for Civil Aviation and Meteorology (Anacim).
In its evening weather forecast, the agency announced a widespread rise in temperatures compared to Monday. Central regions will not be spared, with peaks exceeding 35°C.
Forecasters indicate, however, that this heat will be accompanied by mostly sunny weather across most of the territory.
However, rain and thunderstorms are expected from the afternoon onwards in the southern areas.
Overnight from Monday to Tuesday, cloudy skies will cover Dakar, Thiès, and Mbour, while the rest of the country will experience partly cloudy weather. There remains a slight chance of rain in the Kédougou region.
Anacim specifies that visibility conditions will remain good across the entire territory. Winds will blow from the south in the southern and eastern regions before shifting to the northwest during the day, with a low to moderate intensity.
