Météo : Orages attendus au Centre, à l'Est et au Sud, Dakar sous menace de pluie
The National Agency for Civil Aviation and Meteorology (ANACIM) is forecasting heavy rain and thunderstorms during the night of Tuesday, July 21st to Wednesday, July 22nd, 2026. After Kédougou and Ziguinchor, the rain and thunderstorms will affect Tambacounda, Bakel, and Kaffrine, before spreading to Fatick, Kaolack, Diourbel, and southern Matam. There is also a slight chance of rain in Mbour, Dakar, Thiès, Linguère, and Podor.
ANACIM specifies that humid heat will persist across the entire country, with maximum temperatures exceeding 35°C on Wednesday in the Central, Eastern, and Northern regions. Visibility will generally remain good, and winds will be light to moderate from the west to northwest.
