Administration territoriale : Abdourahmane Ndiaye officiellement installé gouverneur de Tambacounda
The Minister of the Interior and Public Security was in the eastern capital on Tuesday where he presided over the official installation ceremony of Abdourahmane Ndiaye, appointed the new governor of the Tambacounda region.
On this occasion, the minister paid a heartfelt tribute to the outgoing governor, Guédj Diouf, for his work in service to the people. He commended his unwavering commitment, particularly in managing territorial administration, strengthening social cohesion, supporting local development, and preserving regional security.
Addressing Abdourahmane Ndiaye, the minister emphasized the strategic importance of the Tambacounda region. He urged him to carry out his high duties with rigor, dedication, and a strong sense of public service, in accordance with the strategic guidelines set by the President of the Republic.
To carry out his mission, the new head of the regional executive received assurances of continued support from the government. This support aims to strengthen the state's presence and guarantee effective public action for the benefit of the people of the eastern region.
