Assemblée nationale : Les présidents des 14 commissions pour 2026-2027 connus
The chairmanships of the standing committees for the 2026-2027 session have been published. Of the 14 committees, 11 are chaired by men and 3 by women.
Following the installation of the new National Assembly bureau on October 13, the Directorate of Communication and Public Relations published the list of committee chairpersons for 2026-2027.
The Finance and Budgetary Control Committee is chaired by Alphonse Mané Sambou. Abdou Mbow takes the helm of the Economic Affairs Committee.
Oumar Sy will head the Commission on Territorial Planning, Urban Development, Infrastructure, and Transport. Ibrahima Mbodj will lead the Commission on Rural Development, and Babacar Ndiaye will head the Commission on Energy and Mineral Resources. Amy Ndiaye will lead the Commission on Sustainable Development and Ecological Transition.
Abdoulaye Tall heads the Committee on Laws, Decentralization, Labor and Human Rights. Fatou Diop Cissé chairs the Committee on Foreign Affairs, Senegalese Abroad and African Integration, while Ibou Guèye heads the Committee on Defense and Security.
El Hadji Guèye will chair the Education, Youth, Sports and Recreation Committee, and Alioune Sène will chair the Culture and Communication Committee. Khady Sarr will head the Health, Population, Social Affairs and National Solidarity Committee.
Finally, Abdoulaye Sow assumes the chairmanship of the Accounting and Control Commission, and Alioune Ndao the Delegations Commission.
