Attaques contre Ousmane Sonko : le Forum du justiciable monte au créneau
The president of the Forum of the Justiciable, reacted strongly to statements which he describes as "remarks of rare violence and extreme gravity" directed against.
In a statement published on X, Babacar Bâ argues that these attacks are not only aimed at Ousmane Sonko personally, but also at the parliamentary institution he represents. According to him, such remarks constitute a serious affront to the second-highest institution of the Republic.
The president of the Forum of the Justiciable reiterates that in a state governed by the rule of law, respect for institutions remains a fundamental principle that guarantees the stability of the democratic system. As such, he believes that the president of the National Assembly deserves consideration and respect, regardless of political differences or confrontations.
Faced with this situation, Babacar Bâ strongly condemns what he calls disgraceful remarks and calls on political actors and all participants in the public debate to show restraint and responsibility.
He advocates for exchanges based on mutual respect and in accordance with republican and democratic values, believing that political debate must take place within a framework that respects individuals and institutions.
