« Au lieu de nous souler avec vos textes kilométriques » : Mame Diarra Fam tombe à bras raccourcis sur Mary Teuw Niane
The controversy surrounding the parliamentary majority continues to fuel political debate in Senegal. Following Mary Teuw Niane's comments on the matter, Mame Diarra Fam reacted strongly, notably contesting the idea of a majority that is "usurped".
In a publication with a particularly offensive tone, the former MP asserts that the majority belongs to Pastef-Les Patriotes and that it is under the leadership of its president, Ousmane Sonko.
"The majority is not usurped! It belongs to Pastef the Patriots!! It is under the guidance of its president Ousmane Sonko," she insisted.
Mame Diarra Fam then directly attacked Mary Teuw Niane, calling on her to move from words to action. For her, if an alternative majority can truly be formed, the only way to demonstrate this is through the organization of elections.
"If you can get a majority, set the date for the elections instead of bothering us with your lengthy texts!" she says, in a very firm tone.
The political leader also believes that Mary Teuw Niane's stances do not reflect the political reality on the ground. She criticizes him, in particular, for not having won the elections in Saint-Louis and considers promising a majority to President Bassirou Diomaye Faye to be an illusion.
"You did not win in Saint-Louis. If you promise His Excellency Bassirou Diomaye Faye a majority, you know very well that you are deceiving him," she wrote.
