Changement de discours : Lansana Gagny Sakho de 2021 à 2026
Lansana Gagny Sakho left Pastef for Kiiray, the party of President Diomaye Faye, launched over the weekend. But he didn't stop at simply leaving. Invited yesterday to RFM Matin, he seized the opportunity to launch attacks against Ousmane Sonko. "In another country, Ousmane Sonko's government would have been dismissed long ago (...). For two years, all state projects have been stalled. (...) No investors have come forward," charged the Chairman of the Board of Directors of APIX. Sakho also accused Sonko of having "never chosen the Republic."
To allow Senegalese people to form a better opinion of Lansana Gagny Sakho, a journalist shared on Facebook the evolution of his discourse over 5 years.
In May 2021, Sakho said, "Sonko is a patriot who loves his country, even if we have our differences." In June 2022, he added, "Whether you like him or not, you have to recognize his ambition to change the lives of Senegalese people by changing the political landscape." A month later, in July 2022, Sonko was the right man for the job. "We agreed on everything. I had the distinct honor of receiving a visit from President Ousmane Sonko. I truly appreciated his modesty, his vision for Senegal, and his commitment."
In 2023, the crowning achievement: "Sonko is the soul of the youth, he embodies all their hopes."
But when Pastef came to power, things changed rapidly. And today, according to Lansana Gagny Sakho, he's not the same person. "Sonko is both incompetent and sought to sabotage Diomaye's rule."
