"Département bi dagne la bayi" : Cheikh Oumar Anne invite Amadou Ba à reconquérir Podor
The executives of the Podor department met at the home of Dr. Cheikh Oumar Anne for a political meeting of Nouvelle responsabilité Jamm Ji, in the presence of its president Amadou Ba.
Speaking at the event, Dr. Cheikh Oumar Anne delivered a strong message to the former Prime Minister. Declaring that "the department is being left behind," he urged Amadou Ba to politically reclaim this part of Podor, which he considers crucial for the new political dynamic.
In his speech, Amadou Ba, for his part, stressed the need to remain close to the people. "I called you here because you are all close to me," he declared, before affirming that he would never renounce his convictions.
Speaking about the challenges of running a country, Jamm Ji, president of New Responsibility, stated that governing a nation requires "a tremendous amount of effort and much prayer." He also indicated that he could not predict what the coming years would hold, but that he remained committed to his duties.
Amadou Ba also advocated for greater engagement with citizens, lamenting that some political figures are highly visible on television without possessing a strong electoral base. He called on his supporters to prioritize grassroots work and strengthen ties with the people.
This meeting brought together several officials and executives from Podor, who came to reaffirm their commitment to Nouvelle responsabilité Jamm Ji and to discuss the prospects of this new political dynamic.
