« Détruire des vies pour caser sa clientèle politique » : Thierno Alassane Sall charge le régime
Thierno Alassane Sall, a member of parliament and president of the Republic of Values (RDV) party, strongly criticized the current government's handling of labor issues. In a statement, he asserted that the regime has a "brutal record," marked, according to him, by waves of layoffs at the SN HLM (National Social Housing Company) and PUMA (Urban Social Development Program), as well as persistent job insecurity at RTS (Senegalese Radio and Television).
According to Thierno Alassane Sall, these dismissals would be replaced by the recruitment of activists and influencers through "disguised" conventions, he says.
"The method, of rare violence, consists of throwing fathers and mothers into disarray in order to replace them with activists and influencers under the cover of disguised conventions," he said.
The leader of the RDV believes that this practice reflects a governance based on political patronage. "Destroying lives to place one's political clientele: this is absolute injustice and cruelty established as a mode of governance," he denounced.
