Gossas : Clôture des 72H de l'Emploi, le Gouvernement réaffirme son engagement auprès des jeunes et des femmes
Presiding over the closing ceremony of the "72 Hours of Employment and Vocational and Technical Training" in the municipality of Gossas on Monday, September 21, 2026, Minister Idrissa Samb expressed his satisfaction with the results achieved on the ground. Accompanied by Marie Angélique Diouf, Minister of Family and Solidarity, as well as local authorities, he reaffirmed his conviction that "access to employment and skills must be closely aligned with local realities."

Led by the Employment Directorate and 3FPT, this initiative resulted in direct actions to support local youth, women, and businesses. During these three days of mobilization, the teams didn't just talk; they took action. The results include 167 job seekers profiled and referred, 51 businesses contacted, and 14 companies already enrolled in the National State-Employers Agreement (CNEE).

Women's empowerment and youth integration also took center stage with "800 women trained", "20 GIEs funded, directly benefiting a total of 300 women", and "107 ASCs reached across the department thanks to the deployment of the "1 ASC, 1 job" program".
The event concluded with the establishment of a permanent structure: "a permanent Local Mission, set up to sustain this momentum on a daily basis." This new local access point was designed to "welcome, guide, and propel our young job seekers as well as all project leaders," as part of a rollout that will continue throughout the country.
